Please join us in welcoming award-winning author Trisha R. Thomas as she shares her journey as a woman of color and published author. Thomas will also highlight some scripts from her book, Postcards from Venus. Free copies of her book will be given to attendees, while supplies last.
Trisha R. Thomas is an award-winning author of literary fiction; her first novel published by Random House was a finalist for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work. Her novels speak to the insurmountable expectation of young women to feel beautiful in a world full of false images perpetuated by the media
